About the event
Flower farmers, gardeners, floral designers, and flower lovers are invited to the 2nd Annual Cut Flower Field Day on Friday, September 25, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Deb’s Daylilies in Randolph, Virginia!
Hosted by Virginia Cooperative Extension, this free event will feature educational booths, industry specialists, a vendor fair, networking opportunities, refreshments, and a tour of the beautiful daylily farm. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, meet local growers, and connect with others who share a love of flowers.
I’ll be there representing both Handpicked Blossoms and the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners. Stop by for my soil-blocking tutorial, where I’ll demonstrate this space-saving seed-starting method and share tips for making and using soil blocks at home. I’ll also have locally grown, fresh-cut flowers from Handpicked Blossoms available for purchase!
