About the event
You're invited to celebrate 25 years of the Heart of Virginia Master Gardener Association on Thursday, September 17, at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office in Farmville. From 4:00–6:00 p.m., enjoy an open house featuring educational exhibits on beekeeping, seed saving, native plants, cut flowers, and more while meeting local Master Gardeners and Extension staff. Be sure to stop by the Build-Your-Own Bouquet Bar, where you'll create a beautiful bouquet using locally grown flowers to take home.
From 6:00–7:00 p.m., learn more about the Virginia Master Gardener program and discover how you can become part of this rewarding volunteer organization. Whether you're an experienced gardener or simply curious to learn, this free community event offers inspiration, education, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow plant lovers.
