My Story

I’m Liana McCreary, the farmer, flower lover, and muddy boots behind Handpicked Blossoms.

In 2024, what began as a backyard dream in Rice, Virginia quickly grew into a full-fledged passion. With a love for nature, a commitment to sustainability, and a deep desire to create beauty, I planted my first rows of flowers—never imagining how much joy they would bring, both to me and to others.

Today, my small flower farm is home to seasonal blooms that are grown with care and harvested at their peak. Every bouquet, posy, and arrangement is a reflection of the land, the season, and the love that goes into nurturing each stem. Alongside my husband, our three dogs, and a lively flock of eighteen ducks, I spend my days growing flowers in a way that supports both the soil and the community around me.

At Handpicked Blossoms, I believe flowers do more than brighten a room—they bring people together, celebrate life’s everyday moments, and remind us to slow down and notice beauty in its most natural form. Through regenerative practices, I strive to honor the land, give back more than I take, and create something meaningful with every harvest.
